St. Francis Hospital in Evanston performs free mammograms under a grant from the Susan G. Komen foundation (The Race for the Cure people) for patients with no insurance or those with a high deductible and/or no mammogram coverage. According to the scheduler LesliesList.org spoke to, in order to get the free service, you need to call for an appointment at 847-316-6500 and ask for the "Komen Grant Free Mammogram". When you arrive for your test you must also have an order for a mammogram from your doctor that specifies "Komen Grant Free Mammogram", written somewhere on the order form.

Coolest thing about this offer- if you end up having an ABNORMAL mammo, all the subsequent testing you will need is also FREE under this grant!
