Been too wary to go outside an academic center for an MRI?

The here's some news you can use!

These three centers charge the following:

MRI without contrast.....$400.00;
MRI with and without contrast.....$600.00

This applies for any body part. This includes reading fees- done by Northwestern Memorial Faculty Foundation radiologists, no less.

(To remind you: Northwestern Memorial Hospital charges $4100 for a study w/wo contrast alone- then charges an additional reading fee.)
